Some 400 officials and employees from various government agencies led by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) took a 2-kilometer hike up the hills of Ipo watershed in Norzagaray, Bulacan Saturday to plant 2,000 seedlings.

Dragon fruit is slowly gaining ground in the local market because of its health benefits and command for profit. Recognizing the potential of this fruit for enhancing livelihood and agri-based tourism, PCARRD and ILARRDEC teamed up to establish a Science and Technology-based Farm (STBF) on organic production of dragon fruit.
